ChatGPT is a highly capable chatbot released by OpenAI in November 2022. With so many people trying to play with it, ChatGPT often shows an “at capacity” message and delays a user’s access. On Feb 1st, OpenAI announced the launch of ChatGPT Plus, a $20/month subscription plan for those who don’t want to wait. For now, it is only available in US, but international expansion is expected. In addition to priority access, paid users also can enjoy faster responses and early use of new features. It is expected that Microsoft, who made a big investment recently, will use the transformer-based technologies in its search engine Bing, among other things.
