ChatGPT Comes to Mercedes

For those who can not get enough ChatGPT, there is an additional place you can use it: your car. Mercedes-Benz has made a beta program available to 900,000 US vehicles on June 16. All you need to do is to tell your Mercedes car “Hey Mercedes, I want to join the beta program”. Then ChatGPT will be integrated into your car’s voice control system, through Microsoft Azure OpenAI service. The system will understand your voice command better and be able to make conversations. The voice assistant is no longer about sports or weather updates. They may get detailed information about their destination, recipes for dinner, and answers for complex questions while driving. The program is also available in the company’s app. It is reported that GM is making a similar move.
